Have you ever been to Bali?
It is the land of enchantment, where even the air feels like a calming balm.
Bali works its magic on everyone who visits.
You will notice that there is a 'feeling' in Bali that is hard to describe without experiencing it.
Balinese Hindu philosophy is the concept of Tri Hita Karana, which emphasizes the three causes of well-being. These are harmony with God/Spirit (Parahyangan), harmony among people (Pawongan), and harmony with nature (Palemahan). Balinese life revolves around maintaining this equilibrium for prosperity and spiritual balance.
Without darkness, there cannot be light.
In Bali everything is significant - the balance between the spiritual, the physical, and the natural world is what makes it such a powerful place.
Three colors surround this - red - white - black.
White awakens goodness in spirit; red evokes creativity and bravery; black is synonymous with power or protection from bad spirits.
Tridatu, if one were to translate it, means three powers.

Usually we have women like Elizabeth Gilbert, Alana Fairchild, or Amy Loughren as star attractions at our retreats - but we know - as do hundreds of you, that it is not these speakers that are the

So because we know that we have decided to do 2024 a little differently!!!!!

When you register for UGWA you will be asked if you would like to apply to speak or present a workshop from stage.
When we see your registration and you have ticked YES we will send you a LINK to APPLY.
When we recieve your application we will compile them all - then hold interviews in MAY 2024
In June and August 2024 we will officially announce our speakers.

When choosing our UGWA Team we look at the experience they have, the wisdom that they
have to share, their passion for retreats, that travel makes them excited, and that they
are all-around amazing women.
Our 2024 team is international and diverse in many ways - ages, cultures, backgrounds, experiences, and of course areas of expertise.
There will be some of your favorites there like our UGWA Photographer Tanita Seton, Sound Healer Mignon Lee Warden, Kerryn Slater who will guide you to your sacred self, Bron Roberts our happiness extraordinaire, all things fitness with Jenni Williams, and artist Tracey Minster. AND a few others - BUT we are calling in some new amazing women as well - because we want a team that is there for you (and a little bit for themselves as well).
We welcome newcomers like Michelle Fragias who will show us about finding and using our voice and Andrea Gaze who is a BODYART Master Trainer (don't know what that is? You will!)
Finally, we have been able to secure the amazing Tamica Sears passionate about equipping leaders and teams to strive for authenticity, become self-reflective, and achieve.
We have been trying to make this work for around 5 years and 2024 is the year that we will make it work!

Each day you get to pick and choose your own adventure - do it all - OR lie by the pool!

How could we go past the beachfront location and that ALL food and drinks are included in the price!!!!
We could not.
We decided that it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy your UGWA experience. The resort has allocated us 200 rooms (superior balcony and terrace). We will be able to use all four pools (but have one just exclusively for us), three bars,
and two restaurants.
AND
If that isn't enough then there is the Club Med beach, hidden among tropical frangipani, bougainvillea, and banyan trees. In addition to being surrounded by nature's beauty, we will have access to a wide range of activities, including the Spa, Yoga, Trapeze, Windsurfing, and Archery!
The only things to spend money on once you are there is massages, shopping, and your Wednesday excursion.

Healing Hub
The Healing Hub is an integral part of UGWA - you will each receive a FREE voucher for one of the many healing or 1:1 sessions offered.
If that isn't your thing then head to the onsite SPA for a Balinese Massage or treatment.
Indulge in treatments like - reiki, acupuncture, walk-and-talk therapy, massage, readings, craniosacral and so much more.

UGWA Common Questions
Where do I fly to?
You will fly to Denpasar Airport Bali.
We can link you to two of our trusted travel agents, or if you would like to book yourself, we will recommend the best flights to get.
How do I get to the hotel?
There will be some scheduled transfers, if you arrive outside of these times, we will organize a car to collect you. For some of the main flights that are arriving a UGWA Rep will meet you at the airport. We will make sure you know all of the details leading up to your departure from home. We even share airport photos so there are no surprises.
Do I need a Visa and Passport?
It depends on where you are coming from - most nationalities can get a 30-day free tourist visa on arrival. You need a passport with at least 6 months validity on it.
What are your cancellation policies?
Please check out our Terms and Conditions and ask us any questions you need to.
I have food allergies and intolerances. Will these be catered for?
Most definitely. Please let us know these details on the registration form and we will make sure the kitchen knows and we will liaise with you before and during the retreat. Our guest liaisons will have a list of allergies and intolerances and will work closely with the chefs. We will also have a translated card for you to use if you go out of the resort to eat.
Do I need travel insurance?
The easy answer is YES - it is a must and we will get a copy from you just in case it is needed.
